0315 Bella fell out of bed and bumped her nose on the floor.
0630 Wake up
0745 Leave for Cowboy breakfast and kids’ rodeo. At the rodeo, Bella rode Smoky and Bulldog. Neither horse was very cooperative. Felisa had two “pony” rides on Doc and Drifter.
After the rodeo, back
to the house for lunch. A neighbor
called to tell us about something she saw out in her yard by the shed so after
lunch we drive over to check it out. You’ll
never guess what it was – a hand! We
have quite the collection now.
After the hand
adventure, shower time.
2:30 p.m. Leave for the
family reunion party in town. There was
swimming, dancing, Mexican food, and a piñata.
Also lots of relatives we have never met or haven’t seen in many
years. Overall, a fun time.
On the way home we ran
into a cow ambush. A mommy was feeding
her baby cow in the middle of the road.
When we stopped to wait, a few other cows started to come up and
surround the car. We escaped just in the
nick of time!
9:00 p.m. The deer and
sheep are outside so we try to feed them.
Unfortunately they are shy and scared and just keep running away. I tried to take pictures but my camera
battery was so dead it wouldn’t even turn on anymore.
I put our laundry into
the dryer. Ron and the kids are watching
Cars on TV in the barn.
10:05 p.m. Bed time.
