Too Big For School

Felisa slept with her bright pink Michigan bear last night (a gift from Julie) and we were admiring it together this morning. The American flag on its foot prompted me to recite the Pledge of Allegience. Felisa had the furrowed brows look and was very disturbed by this. Apparently I am not supposed to know the pledge because I'm too big for school. She's learning the pledge at school. The rationale of "I used to be small enough for school and I remember some of the things I learned when I was small" wasn't convincing her.
