Finally a day to sleep
in a little bit. Breakfast at 9. After breakfast the kids made water gun
paintings. It took longer and was much
messier than Betty thought it would be.
After art we have to hurry to have lunch so we’ll be ready for our trail
ride.
Trail ride muster:Ryan – Smoky; Bella – Sonny; Cole – Wrangler; Sheila – Bulldog
When we got back from the trail ride, the wranglers let Felisa have another pony ride on Hollywood.
Late afternoon/evening fun was Mexican Train dominos and margaritas. For dinner we had spaghetti. After dinner we fed the animals again. They were a bit braver tonight. They really enjoyed the leftover spaghetti that Ryan brought out for them. While we were there, the kids came up with some names for the animals. We had the Goat Gang, Deer of Doom (including Captain Fearless), Cow Criminals, Sheep of Shame (but only because we couldn’t think of a better name for them), and the Horrible Horses. It sounds like a pretty dangerous neighborhood, doesn’t it?
Before bed we had a
showing of the St Pat’s Talent Show DVD.
A storm blew in while we were watching so we had to run through the
thunder, lightning, and wind to get back to the barn. We made it just in time before it started to
rain. Whew. The kids played DS for awhile while I did
some blog typing.
10:45 p.m. Bedtime
