Pancakes for
breakfast. John and Matthew have VBS
this morning so we go too. The kids were
supposed to be joining in as helpers but the director had changed her mind. Ryan was able to stay and help John with the
water games. Allie and the girls and I
went to Barnes and Noble instead. After
VBS, we have macaroni and cheese for lunch.
It is super hot outside again today so the kids play Wii. Then they move on to Lasertag and Nerf gun
battles. Dinner is spaghetti. Allie’s parents came by after dinner and
brought Krispy Kreme donuts. We ate
donuts and cake for dessert then sent everyone to bed. About 11:00 the kids came back downstairs. Apparently there was a huge thunderstorm
blowing through and Allie heard a branch fall outside. We camp out in the living room for about 45
minutes with the power flickering, watching the weather on tv.
