Day 16

Day 16 – Friday – June 22, 2012

0700 Wake up.  The grandfather clock chimes first and then my cell phone alarm rings.

0745 Leave for the airport to pick up Ron.

Stop at Panera for coffee and a four-cheese soufflé.

0835 At the airport.  Traffic was okay, not too bad.  Pull into the cell phone lot to wait.

0910 Ron is here!

0932 Stop at Starbucks to get Ron some coffee.  He’s a bit tired after the red-eye flight.

A nice day full of fun and relaxing with the Ruthlings.  The kids swim, watch a movie, and play Mario Kart.

6:30 p.m. Dinner.  Tonight is lasagna.  After dinner they surprised me with a birthday ice cream cake.  Yum!

After dessert, the kids go out for one last evening swim.

9:30 p.m. Sending everyone to bed.  Maybe the kids will go to sleep earlier tonight?
