It's Friday the 13th alright!

0645 Wake up

(Brief argument with Mom as she leaves to go home... hopefully things will look better as time goes on since we didn't separate on good terms. Divorce sucks.)

1015 Leave the hotel. Stop for lunch at Schlotsky's since I'm hungry and cranky already. After lunch, stop at Jiffy Lube for an oil change.

Hit the sale at School Crossing. VERY busy today but got a 20% discount on my entire purchase.

Scott called... he's going to be out of town for the weekend so we probably won't see him until we come back.

Now we're off to the Money Museum downtown. Have to do something productive and vacation-y today.

Our favorite parts of the Money Musuem...
Ryan: the daggers and swords
Felisa: the lion
(ummm... did anyone see any money at the money museum?!?)
Bella: the money
(ah, that's better!)
Sheila: the $100,000 bill

2:15 - 3:15 p.m. Spend a torturous hour at the McD's playland while the kids get out some excess energy. I ordered an iced coffee then walked off without it. I guess that's a sign that I really did need the coffee... I was so out of it I forgot to wait for it to be ready. I did get to talk to Shani for a few minutes over the screams. Sounds like she had a good trip and now she gets some alone time at home - always nice.

5:00 p.m. Arrive at Grandpa F's apartment.

5:30 p.m. Dinner at Front Range BBQ... yummy!

6:30 p.m. Head across town to the rodeo grounds.

7:03 p.m. Park in a field and go down a steep hill to the rodeo area. That'll be tougher on the way back I think.

9:28 p.m. Back at the car... the rodeo is not quite over but the girls are getting very tired. Bella in particular doesn't seem that interested in the events.

Our favorite parts of the rodeo...
Felisa: the horses
Bella: the sheep and the horses
Ryan: the bulls and the horses and the sheep and the barrels and the buckin' broncos and the flags (but he didn't say the calvary which I thought for sure would be his answer)
Ron: the cowgirls
Grandpa F: bulls and the cow-milking contest (and the cowgirls but that answer was already taken!)
Sheila: the cowboys and the steer wrestling

10:15 p.m. Home to bed.
