2:10 p.m. Canton, IL – stop for a potty break. It is loud (big loud semis passing and even a fire truck with sirens on) and hot here.
2:14 p.m. Blown Away song playing on the radio again. I really like this song.
2:22 p.m. Cows hanging out in the shade.
2:35 p.m. Felisa asks if we are lost in a cornfield? I tell her not yet!
2:42 p.m. Super dusty cars coming from the other way. I wonder what they were doing.
2:57 p.m. Arrive at Grandma’s house
3:05 p.m. Leave the kids behind and head to HyVee (the urgent care office is apparently in the grocery store!)
3:20 p.m. Arrive at Urgent Care.
3:42 p.m. My finger has been splinted and I am on the way to the hospital for an x-ray. I sure am glad I arrived at the urgent care before the family of 4 showed up!
4:06 p.m. X-ray done! That was quick and pretty painless.
4:23 p.m. Back at Grandma’s house. The kids are watching Harry Potter #4. When it’s over we go to Lana’s house to pick her up and see her new place. Then we all go to Asian Buffet for dinner. After dinner, as is tradition, we shop at Kmart. Nothing good to be found there today. When we get back home, we watch Harry Potter #5.
10:00 p.m. Harry Potter is finally over and we can all go to bed.
