We are 19 seconds old
Ron was "watching" (that's code for: came home from work before 5 pm and dinner isn't ready yet so a nap on the couch will kill time nicely) a National Geographic show about the formation of earth. I was half-listening while cooking dinner and cleaning the kitchen. The show put the earth on a 12-hour clock. Starting with the formation of the earth until today. The dinosaurs showed up at 11:37 and humans came on the scene at 19 seconds before 12 (12:00 being NOW). Puts it all in perspective, don't you think?

Those little tidbits of perspective really can get the best of me sometimes, especially on days like today!!!!
